Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager will support and coordinate sales and business development activities for Traiza Digital Infrastructure Ltd, driving customer onboarding and building repeatable commercial processes across Lagos and other priority markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate sales and business development activities.
• Identify and develop relationships with customers, partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Manage customer and partner onboarding from initial contact through activation, including training and follow‑up.
• Lead and support the sales, onboarding and training teams to ensure consistent execution.
• Build repeatable commercial and onboarding processes and track leads, opportunities and key commercial metrics.
• Gather feedback from customers and field teams and translate it into actionable improvements.
• Work closely with field operations to align commercial commitments with effective implementation.
• Identify new opportunities in recycling, FMCG, EPR, sustainability and related sectors and support expansion into Lagos and other Nigerian markets.
• Report progress, challenges and opportunities directly to the founder.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success or commercial operations.
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Economics or a related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Practical, problem‑solving mindset with strong follow‑through and comfort learning new digital tools.
• Experience in a startup, SME or fast‑growing company is an advantage.
