Clinical Support & Medical Billing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a combined Clinical Support and Medical Billing Specialist to support our clinics in Ojodu Berger Axis. The role blends behind‑the‑scenes clinical coordination with end‑to‑end medical billing and claims management, ensuring patients receive timely, well‑documented care while revenue cycles run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support clinics with non‑clinical administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient communication, and care‑management follow‑ups.
• Maintain and update patient records, charts, and visit notes within EMR/EHR systems.
• Handle faxing, organizing, and tracking of medical documents, referrals, and orders securely.
• Assist remote care programs such as RPM and CCM, monitoring alerts and workflows.
• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims accurately, verifying patient and insurance information.
• Follow up on claim status, investigate rejections or denials, and coordinate with insurers for resolution.
• Maintain billing records, update claim status in practice‑management systems, and support revenue‑cycle activities.
• Collaborate with care and billing teams to identify workflow gaps and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong coordination, task‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfort with EMR/EHR platforms and digital healthcare tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially phone etiquette with patients.
• High sense of responsibility, confidentiality and ethical awareness.
