About the role
The Civil Engineer will lead the review and approval of civil and structural designs for oil, gas and renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and HSE requirements. This role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‑quality infrastructure on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Review and approve civil designs, shop drawings and early works drawings in line with company specifications.
- Analyse technical proposals from EPC contractors to ensure compliance with standards.
- Coordinate trades and lead civil and structural aspects, managing interfaces with other disciplines.
- Supervise site construction activities such as foundations, concrete pipe sleepers, plant roads and shore protection.
- Participate in project reviews, audits and HSE assessments, ensuring safety and quality.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within oil and gas EPC projects.
- Proven experience reviewing and approving civil engineering deliverables and managing project documentation.
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements and ability to lead safety‑by‑design initiatives.
