Civil Engineer – Bridge Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead bridge construction projects for Quema Consulting Limited in Port Harcourt. The role involves planning, supervising and delivering high‑quality infrastructure on schedule while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise bridge construction activities from inception to completion.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure adherence to engineering standards and project specifications.
• Manage site operations, monitor quality, safety procedures and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and optimise project performance.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or B.Sc in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in bridge construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, site supervision and project execution.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and project management abilities.
• COREN registration is an advantage.
