Chief of Staff & Business Development Executive

About the role

The Chief of Staff & Business Development Executive will work closely with Coderyx’s executive leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate cross‑functional projects, and align daily operations with the company’s growth objectives. Based on‑site in Lagos Mainland, the role blends high‑level operational support with proactive market development for the firm’s cybersecurity, cloud, and tech‑training solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior leadership by managing priorities, preparing briefing materials, and tracking progress against key business objectives.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects to ensure operational alignment and timely execution.
• Identify new market opportunities, nurture client relationships, and assist in the development of proposals and pitches.
• Collaborate with technical teams to shape tailored cybersecurity, cloud, and training solutions for clients.
• Drive internal process improvements, performance reporting, and the creation of scalable systems that enable growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Development, Strategy, or Operations role, preferably within a fast‑growing organization or startup.
• Strong business development background with expertise in opportunity identification, client relationship management, and proposal preparation.
• Experience in strategic planning, project coordination, and execution of cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
