Chief Learning Officer for AI and Ed Tech

About the role

Teach For All is seeking a senior leader to shape its global AI learning agenda and drive strategic partnerships across the AI and education sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) for AI and Ed Tech will coordinate cross‑functional efforts to embed artificial intelligence responsibly throughout the organization’s work.

Key responsibilities

• Advance the Global Institute’s AI Learning Agenda, allocating roughly 50% of time to strategic agenda development.
• Craft a cross‑cutting learning agenda that explores the purpose of education in an AI‑infused world and the transformational potential of AI‑enhanced teaching.
• Foster inquiry, surface insights, and generate global frameworks on responsible, equitable AI use in education.
• Lead the “AI Circle,” a collaborative network of staff from software engineering, data, and learning specialties to share knowledge and coordinate AI adoption.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with AI technology providers, educational institutions, and thought leaders.
• Collaborate with other CLOs at the Global Institute to align learning initiatives across 60+ countries.

Required profile

• Senior executive experience in learning and development or education strategy.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI applications within education or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive global initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking and partnership‑building skills.
