Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The CFO is a key member of the Executive Committee and strategic partner to the CEO, Board, investors, and regulators. Responsible for safeguarding the financial strength of the business while driving sustainable growth, capital optimisation, investor confidence, and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted adviser to the CEO, Board and Executive Committee on financial and strategic matters.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management across the company.
• Develop and execute funding and capital strategies, manage liquidity and relationships with banks, investors and lenders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, auditors, rating agencies and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, tax and reporting requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
• Drive finance transformation, automation and digitisation to improve reporting speed and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification; MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO, Finance Director or equivalent executive role.
• Strong experience within financial services, banking, fintech, lending, payments or consumer finance.
• Proven track record managing large balance sheets, funding programmes, regulatory relationships and leading fundraising initiatives.
