About the role
We are looking for a reliable Cement Mixer Truck Driver to join our construction team in Lagos. The role involves transporting cement safely to various sites while ensuring the quality of the mix and adhering to traffic regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive cement mixer trucks safely and follow all traffic rules.
- Check the truck daily (tyres, brakes, lights, drum, water system) before use.
- Keep the drum turning while driving to maintain cement quality.
- Confirm load details before leaving the plant.
- Work with site foremen to discharge cement properly.
- Wash the drum after each delivery.
- Report any truck problems or safety issues immediately.
- Keep the truck clean and professional at all times.
- Record details of each delivery (volume, time, site).
Required profile
- WAEC / NECO certificate.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s licence (Class G) and Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years experience driving mixer trucks or other heavy vehicles; experience in cement delivery is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
