Catering Manager

About the role

The Catering Manager will lead the catering operations for Jad Catering Services, overseeing staff, menus, and client satisfaction at events and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise catering and waiting staff at functions
• Plan menus in consultation with chefs
• Recruit, train and manage permanent and casual staff
• Organise staff shifts, rotas and motivate the catering team
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, fire, licensing and employment regulations
• Set and monitor budgets, financial targets and forecasts
• Maintain quality standards for food and service
• Keep financial, administrative and payroll records
• Manage stock levels and order supplies
• Liaise with suppliers and clients
• Stay updated on industry trends and consumer tastes

Required profile

• Nigerian nationality
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar or higher role
• Diploma in Food Service, Catering or related field
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is an advantage
• Strong leadership and ability to manage large numbers of staff
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
