About the role
The company is seeking a reliable Cashier to manage daily cash flow, process customer payments and ensure accurate financial records. This role is based in the Marina district of Lagos and supports the finance team of a construction firm.
Key responsibilities
- Receive payments from customers via cash, POS terminals and bank transfers.
- Issue accurate receipts for every transaction.
- Record all daily financial transactions in the approved system.
- Perform end‑of‑day reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling company funds and client data.
- Track sales transactions and promptly flag irregularities to the Finance team lead and management.
Required profile
- Minimum BSC qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar cashier or payment handling role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
