Cash and Inventory Controller

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cash and Inventory Controller to join the finance team at d.light Nigeria in Lagos. The role combines cash handling, inventory oversight and financial reconciliation to support accurate reporting and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash transactions, perform bank reconciliations and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Oversee inventory tracking, conduct regular audits, and reconcile inventory records with financial reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile cash, bank and inventory records, supporting senior accountant in reporting.
• Implement and monitor internal controls for cash and inventory processes and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in cash management, inventory control or a similar role.
• Experience with cash management and inventory tracking software; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/inventory management systems.
• Ability to analyze cash and inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.
