Cafe Manager

About the role

The Café Manager will lead daily operations of a busy café in Lagos, ensuring timely service to corporate clients, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and overseeing staff performance.

Key responsibilities

• Open the café by 6:00 AM, supervise staff punctuality, dress code, and hygiene compliance.
• Manage product preparation and delivery to corporate clients such as Seplat and Total, ensuring orders are processed within 15 minutes.
• Monitor digital ordering platforms (Chowdeck, Glovo, Fitlife) and coordinate logistics partners for prompt delivery.
• Conduct daily inventory checks, reconcile POS, Paystack and cooperative payments, and report spoilage or discrepancies.
• Oversee end‑of‑day closing procedures, secure the premises, and set production targets for the next day.
• Maintain accurate sales, inventory and staff performance records using Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Required profile

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or managerial experience in food service.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and foster a positive team environment.
