Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and securing new logistics and supply chain opportunities across various sectors. You will work closely with operations and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and expand market reach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities in logistics, transportation, haulage, warehousing and supply chain sectors.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet revenue and customer acquisition targets.
• Research market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and e‑commerce businesses.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, service agreements and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery meets client requirements.
• Monitor sales pipelines, revenue performance and maintain accurate CRM records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales within logistics, transportation or related services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple prospects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings.
