Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Africa Delivery Technologies Limited (Kwik) across delivery, haulage, warehousing and fulfilment services in Lagos. You will lead the Business Development team, identify new market opportunities and build strategic client relationships to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for delivery, haulage, warehousing and fulfilment services.
• Identify new markets, partnerships and revenue opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
• Lead, guide and monitor the Business Development team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients and strategic accounts.
• Negotiate contracts, review proposals and ensure profitability and compliance.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates to management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Customer Support and other teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.

Required profile

• A BA/BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in business development, sales or account management, including team leadership.
• Proven record of acquiring high‑value clients and meeting revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of logistics services, market dynamics and customer needs.
