About the role
As a core business development leader for H3C in Africa, you will drive ICT expansion across key markets, targeting government, telecom, energy and financial sectors. You will be responsible for delivering network construction, cloud services and digital transformation solutions while achieving regional sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle business development in African markets, define regional sales strategies, meet annual targets and maintain a robust sales funnel.
- Deepen partnerships with government, enterprise and carrier clients, as well as channel partners, to build long‑term cooperation networks.
- Oversee end‑to‑end management of large ICT projects, including demand analysis, solution design, bidding, negotiation, contract signing, delivery follow‑up and payment collection.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and policy changes; produce analysis reports and adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales, delivery and R&D teams to tailor solutions and secure cross‑regional projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, International Business or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the ICT industry, preferably with government, enterprise and carrier business development in Africa.
- Fluent English; French, Portuguese or other African languages are a plus.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale ICT projects and maintaining senior government and enterprise relationships.
- Willingness to reside long‑term in key African markets and travel across regions as needed.
- Strong cross‑cultural communication, result orientation and ability to work under pressure.
