Business Development Manager - Facility Management

About the role

A facility management company based in Victoria Island (VI) is looking for a Business Development Manager. The role is central to building growth strategies, expanding the client portfolio and managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation through contract award to operational mobilization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, research target industries and build a strong commercial sales pipeline.
• Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimates, service level agreements (SLAs) and respond to RFPs and tenders.
• Pitch integrated facility management solutions (hard services such as MEP and maintenance, and soft services such as cleaning and security) to property owners, corporate real estate directors and facility heads.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models and service contracts with legal and operations teams.
• Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, consultants and real estate developers.
• Work with operations, estimating and finance teams so that proposed solutions are profitable and deliverable.
• Track sales metrics, maintain CRM data and report revenue forecasts to senior management.

Required profile

• HND or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles.
• Presentation, networking and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Understanding of FM pricing structures, service level standards and client needs is an advantage.
