Business Development Executive – Training

About the role

We are a leading provider of training, inspection, asset integrity maintenance, and pipeline & process services for the oil & gas, marine and construction sectors. We are seeking a Business Development Executive – Training to expand our client base and drive revenue growth for the training division in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and generate revenue for the Training division.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase training revenue.
• Register client training requests, ensure accurate billing and invoicing, and manage contract renewals.
• Schedule meetings, presentations and maintain existing accounts through prompt follow‑up.
• Identify and attend relevant training events, exhibitions and conferences.
• Establish new accounts via client visits, calls, emails and electronic communication.
• Reactivate inactive accounts by understanding their training needs.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to promote the training services.
• Prepare presentations and pitches for prospective clients and regulators.
• Ensure vendor registration of training services with key clients and timely submission of tenders.
• Participate in setting sales budgets for the division.

Required profile

• HND, BEng or BSc in Marketing, Management or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and business development, covering the full sales cycle.
• Demonstrated sales success with strong negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry is an advantage.
