Business Development Executive – Sales & Growth

About the role

We are looking for our first Business Development Executive to drive sales and growth at Dalt, Nigeria’s marketplace for verified used phones and laptops. You will own client acquisition from start to finish, targeting both bulk buyers and a network of campus representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source bulk and corporate buyers such as offices, schools and resellers who need multiple devices.
• Establish Dalt’s presence in key markets like Computer Village, university campuses and relevant meet‑ups.
• Recruit, train and manage a network of student campus representatives to generate local sign‑ups.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to optimise acquisition strategies.

Required profile

• Based in Lagos and able to work on‑site, engaging directly with vendors and customers.
• Comfortable with a commission‑driven compensation model and motivated by upside.
• Experience in sales, business development, referral networks or agency banking, with a proven ability to secure agreements.
• Confident approaching stores, market stalls or student groups and organised enough to manage multiple relationships.
