Business Development Executive – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to drive growth within the upstream Oil & Gas sector in Lagos. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and securing contracts that contribute to our revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, bids, and commercial presentations.
• Support tendering processes, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Manage the full business development cycle and achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the upstream Oil & Gas sector.
• At least 2 years of direct revenue‑generation responsibility.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship management abilities.
• Experience in proposal development, tendering and contract discussions is an advantage.
