Business Development Executive

About the role

Realhouse Communications Limited, a publishing company with several magazine titles, is expanding its digital tools and services. We are looking for a full‑time Business Development Executive based in Lagos to drive revenue growth and build strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across advertisers, real estate agencies, developers and corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and prepare tailored proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate and close advertising and sponsorship deals.
• Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to align commercial strategies with content.
• Track performance metrics to optimise sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a structured marketing team.
• Strong business development and sales skills including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation and closing.
• Marketing and communication abilities to develop sales materials and pitch concepts.
• Analytical and strategic thinking for market research and data‑driven decisions.
• Familiarity with Lagos business environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
