Business Developer, Bid and Terdering Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer who will lead the identification, preparation and submission of bids and tenders for our Oil & Gas clients. The role combines commercial acumen with technical understanding of procurement platforms to secure new contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor tender opportunities on platforms such as NipeX, NNPC, NOGIC and major EPC contractors.
• Analyse ITTs, RFQs and RFPs to determine requirements and submission criteria.
• Coordinate the preparation, review and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Prepare bid schedules, compliance matrices, checklists and related documentation.
• Liaise with Procurement, Technical, Finance and Business Development teams to gather required information.
• Lead bid clarification meetings and respond to client queries.
• Maintain a structured database of bids, tenders and proposal documents.
• Track bid outcomes, analyse win/loss ratios and capture lessons learned.
• Support continuous improvement of bid management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bid management, tendering or proposal coordination within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas procurement procedures and commercial documentation.
• Familiarity with NipeX, NNPC, IOCs or major EPC contractors is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
