About the role
FactBase Consulting Limited is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of its studio and transmission facilities. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast equipment, supporting live programmes and special productions.
Key responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and systems.
- Ensure reliable operation of studio, transmission, audio, video and other broadcast gear.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs, servicing and technical support.
- Monitor broadcast systems to minimise downtime and guarantee uninterrupted transmission.
- Provide technical support during live broadcasts, programmes and special productions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on broadcast equipment.
Required profile
- HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
- Goal‑driven, result‑oriented and innovative mindset.
Required skills
- Broadcast equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Audio and video system management.
- ICT proficiency.
- Electronics/electrical technical expertise.
