Biomedical Engineer – Medical Equipment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Port Harcourt, supporting hospitals and laboratories with the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of medical and laboratory equipment. The role involves direct technical support, equipment demonstrations and collaboration with sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot medical and laboratory equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose technical faults and provide appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical support to hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.
• Assist with equipment demonstrations and user training.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to meet customer needs.
• Travel to client locations when required.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of medical and laboratory equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Relevant work experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
