Bid & Tender Specialist

About the role

Peakware Group is seeking a proactive Bid & Tender Specialist to support business growth by identifying, preparing and submitting bids, tenders and proposals. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, ensuring compliance and managing multiple deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and track bid, tender and business opportunities from government agencies, private organisations and procurement portals.
• Coordinate the preparation, compilation and submission of technical and commercial bid documents within stipulated timelines.
• Review bid requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines.
• Obtain required technical and commercial information from internal departments for proposals.
• Maintain and update tender documentation, company profiles, certifications and supporting records.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and procurement opportunities.
• Prepare bid schedules and ensure timely completion of all tender activities.
• Track outcomes of submitted bids and maintain records of awarded and unsuccessful bids.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Coordinate clarification requests, pre‑bid meetings and client communications.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in Business Development, Bids & Tender, Proposal Management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in the oil & gas, energy or construction sector is an advantage.
• Familiarity with NIPEX.
