About the role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team in Port Harcourt. You will design, build and maintain robust server‑side services that power our web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile clients.
Create, optimise and manage relational databases with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth.
Integrate third‑party APIs and external services.
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code.
Deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments.
Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
Analyse and improve application performance and database queries.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
