Automation Test Engineer – QA (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join a leading software development client on a contract basis. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑impact projects that ensure software quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry‑standard frameworks.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and track resolutions through bug‑tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and overall quality strategy.

Required profile

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
