Auditor – Internal Audit & Inventory Control

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking an Auditor to lead internal audits across financial, operational, sales, procurement and inventory functions. The role involves evaluating controls, identifying risks and supporting the improvement of processes in a fast‑moving retail and FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, sales, procurement and inventory activities.
• Review sales transactions, invoices, receipts, expenses and supporting documentation.
• Audit inventory records, stock movements, counts, transfers, damages and variances.
• Investigate stock shortages, excesses, wastage and unexplained discrepancies.
• Evaluate cash handling, POS transactions, banking records and cash reconciliations.
• Assess internal controls, identify weaknesses, risks and potential loss areas.
• Audit warehouses, retail outlets, distribution points and other operational locations.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and approved financial controls.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks and corrective recommendations.
• Follow up on previous audit findings and support implementation of recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 24 months) in audit, preferably within FMCG, retail, manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong understanding of internal audit, inventory control, cash management and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and travel to various operational locations.
