Audit & Account Manager – Finance Operations

About the role

The Audit/Account Manager will lead daily accounting and financial operations for Davidorlah Farms, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and effective financial controls. This senior‑level position works closely with management to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, including accounts payable, receivable and payroll records.
• Prepare, review and submit financial statements, management accounts and periodic reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and financial plans.
• Conduct internal audits, identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, accounting standards and company policies.
• Reconcile bank statements and oversee statutory payments.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks and tax consultants as needed.
• Supervise and review the work of accounting staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or ACA is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to handle confidential financial information.
