Associate Management Consultant – Hybrid (Lagos & Abuja)

About the role

The Associate Consultant will support the development and delivery of consulting engagements across various sectors, conducting research, preparing business reports and proposals, and contributing to thought‑leadership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry, policy and competitor research and develop reports, briefing notes and insight papers.
• Assist in planning and executing consulting engagements, including client meetings, workshops and stakeholder consultations.
• Develop high‑quality concept notes, proposals, business cases and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate project activities, track deliverables and prepare status reports.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Management, Social Sciences, International Development, Law, Finance or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• 2‑8 years of relevant experience in consulting, advisory services, project management or research, preferably with private‑sector organisations, NGOs, foundations, development agencies or consulting firms.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Workspace.
• Exceptional research, analytical and report‑writing abilities.
• Strong business writing, proposal development and grant‑writing skills.
• Project management and coordination experience.
