Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and cost management functions of construction projects at Ebenezer Brothers Limited. Working closely with project teams, you will help ensure accurate measurement, budgeting and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and updating cost reporting documents.
• Participate in cost planning, estimation and monitoring of project costs against budgets.
• Review supplier quotations and support procurement activities.
• Collaborate with site, design and procurement teams to verify measurements and valuations of work performed.
• Prepare interim payment certificates and maintain project documentation.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and contract administration tasks.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in cost planning, cost management and cost control for construction projects.
• Ability to prepare, review and update BOQs and cost reports.
• Knowledge of basic contract administration and construction measurement principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or estimating software.
• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
