About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Primary School Teacher to support Year 2 and Year 3 classes at our British International School in Ikeja, Lagos. The role involves assisting the class teacher in delivering the British Primary curriculum and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom support during lessons, activities, transitions and routines.
- Assist with differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
- Observe pupil engagement and progress, communicating observations to the class teacher.
- Help maintain an organised, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: NCE or BEd in Education or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching or classroom support experience.
- Professionalism, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work collaboratively.
