About the role
The Class Teacher will join Brain Academy in Marina, Imo, delivering learner‑centred lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records and ensuring classroom discipline. The role requires a proactive approach to fostering student engagement and maintaining high standards of academic performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, learner‑centred lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
- Prepare appropriate teaching and learning materials.
- Assess learners regularly and provide constructive feedback on their progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, behaviour, and academic performance.
- Manage the classroom effectively.
- Promote discipline within the learning environment.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of an NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education).
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar teaching role.
