Art Teacher – A Level & IGCSE

About the role

The school follows a rigorous British curriculum and offers Art as an IGCSE and A Level subject. This role is for an ambitious, creative Art teacher who can inspire students across Key Stage 3 to A Level.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, academically rigorous Art lessons for IGCSE and A Level students.
• Inspire confidence in students’ creative voice and develop technical skills across a range of media.
• Contribute to co‑curricular activities and collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school community.

Required profile

• A relevant degree in Fine Art, Art & Design or related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent) and valid teaching licence.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Art in a British or international school.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare policies.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IGCSE and A Level Art curricula.
• Excellent subject knowledge of artistic techniques and media.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
