Director of Program Management (Remote) – $200k/year

About the role

2 Hour Learning is building an AI‑powered education model that delivers a full day of academic progress in just two hours. As Director of Program Management you will own the execution layer that gives executives trusted data to make high‑impact decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio‑level dashboards for 10+ concurrent initiatives, using AI to standardize updates, detect slippage and surface risks.
• Run recurring vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric‑based scorecards covering delivery, quality, cost and contractual commitments.
• Lead competitive technology‑vendor procurement, creating structured bid packages, scoring rubrics, SOWs and evidence‑backed recommendations.
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones and acceptance criteria, validating invoices before spend approval.

Required profile

• Directly owned a portfolio of 10+ initiatives with at least $5M budget responsibility and authority over vendor selection.
• Managed 5+ external technology vendors simultaneously (SaaS, AI/ML platforms, agencies, engineering firms).
• Demonstrated that C‑suite leaders used your data to make go/no‑go decisions on vendor renewal or budget reallocation.
• Experience leading competitive technology procurement and authoring performance‑based SOWs.

Required skills

• AI‑enabled dashboarding and anomaly detection.
• Vendor scorecard development and contract governance.
• Use of portfolio and delivery tools such as Linear and Jira.
