Architect & Project Manager – Smart Product Design

About the role

ZICS is looking for an experienced architect who can also lead project management for its smart doors, gates, furniture and metal‑fabrication operations. The role combines design excellence with operational oversight to deliver innovative, high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring projects are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
• Lead the design process for smart doors, gates and furniture, balancing aesthetics and functionality.
• Manage project timelines, resources and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and technologists to integrate cutting‑edge technology.
• Drive product innovation by applying architectural principles and staying abreast of smart‑home trends.
• Engage with clients to translate needs into practical, innovative solutions.
• Ensure all products meet ZICS’s standards for design, functionality and durability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of architectural experience with a strong design portfolio.
• Proven experience managing operations or leading project teams.
• Strong understanding of smart‑technology integration in design.
• Excellent project‑management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative problem‑solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Knowledge of industry trends in smart homes, furniture and security solutions.
