About the role
The Accounting Executive will support Jomivic Travel’s finance function by ensuring accurate daily transaction processing, timely reporting, and compliance with tax regulations. This role is based in Lagos and works closely with the management team to provide reliable financial information for decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Process and record daily accounting transactions, maintaining up‑to‑date financial ledgers.
- Prepare, review and reconcile sales computations, invoices, receipts and related reports.
- Monitor inventory movements, reconcile stock records and support purchase‑to‑sale accounting.
- Generate periodic financial statements and assist management with performance analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation of all financial entries and adherence to internal controls.
- Compute tax liabilities, prepare filings and ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory obligations.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and sales computation.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
