Accounting and Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting and Human Resources Manager to lead and coordinate all accounting, bookkeeping, HR, office management, and safety activities. The role reports to senior management and contributes to strategic planning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the management team, representing accounting and administrative functions in planning.
• Develop and maintain fair personnel policies and an up‑to‑date Employee Handbook compliant with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual budget and financial reports for owners and managers.
• Track and analyze operating results against budget and provide insights.
• Direct, coordinate and oversee all administrative and bookkeeping functions.
• Negotiate company insurance policies and manage employee benefit programs.
• Support Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Payroll as needed.
• Maintain employee files and ensure smooth payroll processing.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of combined experience in accounting and human resources.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits and training.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIPM) are desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software: QuickBooks, Sage, Peachtree, Zoho.
• Experience using enterprise systems such as Dash, ERP, Insight 360, JPP.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
