About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, payroll and reporting for our Lagos office.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain the asset register by appraising, evaluating and taking inventory of company assets.
- Record, reconcile and post petty‑cash and fuel imprest transactions.
- Reconcile payments and receipts and confirm customer deposits.
- Issue receipts and manage all accounting transactions.
- Administer payroll and control income and expenditure.
- Audit financial information and compile reports, budgets and financial statements.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
