Accountant – Full‑time Finance Role

About the role

The company seeks a diligent Accountant to manage its full‑cycle financial operations, supporting both e‑commerce and traditional business activities. This role involves bookkeeping, payroll, tax compliance and financial reporting within a fast‑growing healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping records, including income, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, payment platforms and POS transactions.
• Reconcile e‑commerce sales, payment gateway, POS and delivery channel data, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly payroll, process salaries, allowances, commissions and statutory deductions.
• Support tax compliance by preparing and filing PAYE, VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax.
• Produce regular management accounts, profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports and analyse variances.
• Monitor expenses, enforce financial controls and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain inventory‑related financial records and reconcile stock movements.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to handle full‑cycle accounting tasks.
