About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Lagos state on a full‑time basis. The role involves handling accounting transactions, payroll, and preparing accurate financial reports.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports.
- Appraise, evaluate, and inventory company assets while maintaining an asset register.
- Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest.
- Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits and issue receipts.
- Manage all accounting transactions and administer payrolls.
- Control income and expenditure, audit financial information.
- Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
