Accountant – Entry Level (Hospitality & Hotel)

About the role

The Accountant will join Lion Hospitality Partners in Lagos, supporting the finance function across multiple venues. You will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensure accurate cash flow tracking and maintain compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, process vendor invoices and reconcile customer accounts.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations for several company accounts.
• Assist with computation, filing and remittance of statutory taxes (WHT, VAT, PAYE).
• Prepare financial statements, expense reports and cash position summaries for management.
• Maintain organized records for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with venue managers and perform general accounting duties as directed by the Head of Accounts.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi‑venue retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
