About the role
Hugo Global Express Logitics Ltd is hiring a full-time Accountant in Lagos (Marina area, Ajao Estate, Isolo) to handle cost accounting, invoicing, general ledger and bookkeeping, and accounts payable and receivable. The role suits someone with around two years of accounting experience, ideally in cargo logistics, freight forwarding, maritime or supply chain operations.
Key responsibilities
- Cost accounting and invoicing
- General ledger and daily bookkeeping
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Audit, asset management and financial reporting
Required profile
- Minimum HND in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in cargo logistics, freight forwarding, maritime or supply chain operations
- ICAN/ACA/ACCA qualification strongly preferred
Required skills
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as V-Note, QuickBooks, Sage or ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
