About the role
HeartLens Studio is looking for a talented Videographer & Content Creator to lead cinematic production for commercial and documentary projects in Lagos. You will be the primary Director of Photography, handling everything from camera work to final edit.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main Director of Photography on set, operating professional cameras, setting up lighting, and capturing high‑quality audio.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop visual styles, shot lists, and on‑ground execution strategies.
- Own the end‑to‑end editing process, including narrative pacing, sound design, and color grading to deliver polished final cuts.
- Maintain disciplined data workflow: offload, back up, and organise raw footage and project files.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a videographer and editor, preferably in a boutique studio or creative agency.
- Own a professional camera kit (Sony, Lumix, or Canon) capable of clean 4K recording.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating narrative storytelling, lighting, and pacing.
- Highly resourceful, organised, and able to manage fast‑paced, unpredictable on‑location logistics in Lagos.
