Van Sales Representative

About the role

The Van Sales Representative will operate a company‑owned van to service a defined route of retail outlets and wholesalers in Lagos, promoting and selling OrchidSphere’s manufacturing and warehousing products. This field‑based role blends direct selling, merchandising, and on‑site customer service to drive revenue and expand the customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily route plans to visit existing and potential customers, including retail outlets and wholesalers.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, volume, and revenue goals.
• Conduct direct selling and merchandising of products from the van.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
• Identify new business opportunities and onboard new customers within assigned routes.
• Manage stock, including inventory tracking, replenishment, and reconciliation.
• Collect payments (cash, POS, or credit) and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition and comply with safety and traffic regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily sales, stock, and route performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum OND (Ordinary National Diploma).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar van sales or field sales role.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage customer relationships.

Required skills

• POS systems for payment collection.
• Inventory management and stock reconciliation.
