Treasury Officer

About the role

The Treasury Officer will support the finance team by managing daily cash positions, ensuring smooth bank transactions, and preparing accurate cash flow forecasts. This role is essential for maintaining liquidity and compliance with internal financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and cash flow requirements.
• Manage bank transactions, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury reports.
• Monitor inflows and outflows to ensure effective liquidity management.
• Maintain accurate records of financial and banking transactions.
• Support payment processing and ensure proper authorization procedures are followed.
• Liaise with banks and other relevant financial institutions.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial and treasury reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification or certification is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or banking (up to 2 years).
• Good understanding of cash management and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
