Travel Sales Executive – Airline & Tour Packages

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Travel Sales Executive to join our team in Abuja and Lagos. The role involves promoting and selling airline tickets, accommodation, insurance and other travel services to both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and sell airline tickets, hotel bookings, insurance and ancillary travel services.
• Grow the customer base for airline tickets and tour packages.
• Consult clients on destinations, transport modes, travel dates, costs and accommodations.
• Provide brochures, guides and relevant travel information.
• Achieve monthly profit and sales targets.
• Book tickets, make reservations and process payments through online platforms.
• Prepare promotional materials and use marketing techniques to sell itineraries.
• Handle travel issues, complaints and refunds promptly.
• Attend seminars to stay updated on tourism trends.
• Enter and maintain client data in the company software.
• Network with tour operators to expand the customer base.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience meeting sales targets in the travel sector.
• Excellent knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer reservation systems (CRS).
• Experience using e‑travel booking platforms.
• Familiarity with online payment processing platforms.
