Telesales Officer

About the role

The Telesales Officer will promote generator rental, maintenance and sales services to prospective and existing customers in Lagos. You will work closely with the business development team to turn leads into confirmed sales while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Contact prospective and existing customers to promote generator solutions.
• Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, referrals and inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate power solutions.
• Convert inquiries into sales opportunities and support the sales process to closure.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Schedule meetings and site visits for the business development team.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads and sales activities.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports.
• Stay informed about products, pricing and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, HND or OND in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in telesales, sales, customer service or business development.
• Strong sales, negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls daily.
• Goal‑oriented and target‑driven mindset.
• Experience in power solutions, engineering, energy or related industries is an advantage.
