Tech Sales & Admissions Officer

About the role

IJAN Africa is seeking a Tech Sales & Admissions Officer to lead enrollment for its digital and language programmes. Based on‑site in Ikeja, the role combines sales outreach with admissions support to guide prospective learners through the application journey.

Key responsibilities

• Drive enrollment into IJAN Africa’s digital and language programmes through calls, emails and in‑person consultations.
• Explain program offerings, admission requirements and career outcomes to prospective learners.
• Guide candidates through the application and registration process and manage admissions inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of leads and applicants, and follow up consistently to convert prospects into enrolled participants.
• Conduct information sessions and collaborate with marketing to support recruitment campaigns.
• Build relationships with schools, partners and other stakeholders to expand outreach.
• Ensure an excellent customer experience for all applicants.
• Provide feedback to academic and operations teams on learner needs and market trends.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills with the ability to build trust and support prospective learners.
• Experience or knowledge of international admissions and education processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting programmes clearly and handling objections.
• Proven sales or student‑recruitment experience in an educational or training environment, with a track record of meeting enrollment targets.
• Comfort using digital tools and CRM or admissions management systems for tracking leads and applications.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ikeja, manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with marketing, academic and operations teams.
