About the role
The Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and safety in all inventory operations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials to verify quality and quantity.
- Store items systematically for easy identification, retrieval, and preservation.
- Issue materials against authorized requisitions following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or electronic systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report findings.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, security, and compliance with stock control policies.
- Keep the store environment clean, organized, and compliant while coordinating inventory needs with other departments.
Required profile
- Minimum OND in a relevant field.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and responsible.
- Experience in a construction or engineering environment is an advantage.
