Sound/Audio Trainee

About the role

This is an entry‑level trainee position focused on audio production for TV. You will work alongside senior sound engineers to develop practical skills in recording, editing, and mixing audio for broadcast.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating audio equipment for TV productions.
• Learn and apply sound recording, editing, mixing, and post‑production techniques.
• Support senior engineers during studio and field sessions.
• Monitor audio quality during recordings and live broadcasts.
• Help troubleshoot and maintain audio gear.
• Organise and manage audio files and recordings.
• Participate in training sessions and practical assignments.
• Follow safety procedures and production guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong passion for audio and sound engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Residence in Ogba, Agege, Ojodu Berger, or nearby Lagos areas.
• Maximum age of 27 years.
• Interest in building a career in TV production audio.
• Willingness to undergo training and learn new technical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail.
